two big ski zones in Furano Ski
Resort,
which are "Kitanomine Zone"
& "Furano Zone",
connecting around the middle of each mountain.Furano ski season opens in November, and
finishes around early May. The best powder ski
period would
be from January to March.
You can experience the amazing powder snow world
in Furano Ski Resort.
If you would like backcountry
skiing, "Asahidake",
"Kamui", "Kurodake",
and "Tokachidake"
mountains are just within around an hour away by
car from Furano. Tomamu Ski
Resort is just
one and half hours away by car. Tours and
transportations to those ski mountains are
available from Furano.
